Impact Story: Feeling Known, Seen, and Loved

“ The SWITCHFOOT BRO-AM Foundation makes our students feel seen, known and loved. Their support is tangible to our students. Their event says, “We care about you and are welcoming you into our community with open arms and celebrating you.”
— A Step Beyond

In 2016 the SWITCHFOOT BRO-AM Foundation partnered with A Step Beyond to help foster a thriving future for kids and families in San Diego through their dance, academic, and family support programs. Thanks to ASB and the continued support from the BRO-AM community, countless kids and families know they matter and know they are loved.

I really loved going to the BRO-AM’s day at the beach.  This last year was my second summer going and it was so special to be out there on the beach with all of our friends.  We get to take surf lessons, and beyond the lessons being a fun opportunity, it gives us [ASB students] all a chance to bond with each other outside of dance.  It also gives us a fun day away at the beach which we don't get to do very often.” -
