This year’s Bro-Am Live Stream event raised over $60,000 to support the increasing needs of kids through our 6 beneficiaries:
A Step Beyond
Challenged Athletes Foundation
Feeding America
Feeding San Diego
Monarch Schools
Save The Music Foundation.
The highlight of everyone’s evening was hearing Olivia Stone share her story about how BRO-AM and Challenged Athletes Foundation inspired her to train for and compete with Team USA Surfing. After hearing Olivia’s story we were stoked to feature performances by SWITCHFOOT, Andrew McMahon, Phantom Planet, Madison Cunningham, and State to State.
Since the inaugural Bro-Am event in 2005, our annual events have raised over 2.25 million dollars for youth programs impacting homeless, at-risk and disadvantaged kids. Grants awarded by the Switchfoot Bro-Am Foundation focus on empowering kids with physical and community well-being along with opportunities to thrive through music, art, surfing, and education.
Big thanks to this year’s Bro-Am sponsors: BMW Encinitas, Gnarlywood, Kaiser Permanente, SUJA Juice, and Ting Internet
