Just like the athletes they support, the Challenged Athletes Foundation is unstoppable. Undeterred by the unfortunate postponement of our 2020 Beach Fest & CAF's traditional Junior Seau Foundation Adaptive Surf Program; they're still finding ways to provide opportunities to help kids get out and surf!
Thanks to your support of the BRO-AM, CAF was able to grant a brand new surfboard to 10 year old Sophia Saunders. Sophia is a surfer who also happens to be a congenital below-the-elbow amputee.
To make Sophia's day even more rad, the board was presented to her by none other than SWITCHFOOT's Chad Butler & ISA World Para Surfing Champion Liv Stone! This presentation was of course followed by an epic, stoke filled surf session at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas.
